The shape of the swim platform for example will dictate the type of davits used. The greater the curve, the more extended the davit heads need to be. In addition, a swim ladder or similar obstacle can be cleared with extended davits heads.

Higher or lower than usual swim platform can be accommodated with ‘raised’ davit heads or the ‘Offset’ and ‘Snap-up’ Davits.

The additional use of a ‘Quick Fit’ accessory allow quick removal of the davit head when the swim platform is in use.
